Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has carried out a cabinet reshuffle, bringing new faces into key positions.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo, has been relieved of her duties, and Professor Musibau Adetunji Babatunde has been named her replacement.
The reshuffle also moved Temilolu Seun Ashamu from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to lead the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
In addition, Ademola Aderinto, previously the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, has been appointed as a commissioner-designate and will undergo screening at the Oyo State Assembly.
The governor’s new team also includes Abiodun Adedoja as Special Adviser on Energy Security and Kolawole Elijah Akanmu as Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning.
These changes aim to realign the state’s leadership and planning for ongoing projects and governance.
