THE North-Central Grassroots Mobilisation Network for Tinubu/Shettima 2027 has announced a 5-day Free Mega Medical Outreach for all residents of Benue State.
The outreach, convened by its National Coordinator, Architect Sonny S. T. Echono, will hold from Tuesday, 27th to Saturday, 31st October, 2026.
According to the organizers, all medical services will be absolutely free, with no registration, consultation, drug or surgery fees.
Services to be provided include treatment for malaria, cough, skin diseases and intestinal worms, eye examinations, cataract surgery and reading glasses, dental care, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, hernia and other minor surgeries, medical care for pregnant women, and free mosquito nets and deworming for children.
The outreach will be held across three zones:
– Zone A (North-East): General Hospital, Katsina-Ala and General Hospital, Vandeikya
– Zone B (North-West): General Hospital, Makurdi and General Hospital, Gboko
– Zone C (Benue South): Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Otukpo and General Hospital, Ugbokpo
Residents are advised to come along with their hospital cards, antenatal cards, children’s clinic cards, previous medical records and eyeglasses where applicable.
Announcing the program, the Director-General, Dr Hassan Ocholi, urged residents to share the information with family and neighbours, adding that “Your health is your wealth.”
