Nigerian Petroleum Workers Resume Nationwide Strike

News Update

THE Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has announced the resumption of its suspended nationwide industrial action over the breach of resolutions by Dangote Group.

In a statement signed by Williams Akporeha, National Executive President, and Afolabi Olawale, General Secretary, the union expressed its displeasure over Alh Sayyu Aliu Dantata, cousin to Aliko Dangote, for “his arrogant attitude towards official institutions of this great country and blatant lack of respect for the laws of this country.”
