THE Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Sunday announced it has released the results of the recently rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, results.
The announcement of the release of the results was shared on official X of JAMB.
Meanwhile, about 379,000 candidates sat the rescheduled UTME.
The development came after widespread outcry over mass failure during the initial UTME.
The Board had claimed that over 1.5 million out of the 1.9 million candidates who sat this year’s UTME scored below 200 marks out of a possible 400.
The disclosure prompted widespread concern among stakeholders.
However, JAMB later admitted to technical and human errors, especially in Lagos and South-East states, stating that it significantly affected candidates’ performance.
Announcing the results, JAMB said that candidates are to send UTMERESULT in capital letter to either 55019 or 66019.
