THE Democracy and Good Governance group extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Olusegun Olufehinti on his recent appointment as the Executive Director of Projects at the Southwest Development Commission (SWDC). Mr. Olufehinti, a proud son of Akoko South-East Local Government Area of Ondo State, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to this vital role.
In a statement signed by the group’s convener, Prince Adewale Alaofin (PAMA), the organization also lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a distinguished Ondo indigene to such a strategic position, recognizing his capability to drive the Commission’s mission of regional development.
“We are deeply pleased and grateful to Almighty God for this elevation of one of our own,” the statement read. “Mr. Olufehinti’s appointment is a testament to the excellence and competence found within Ondo State. We trust that he will lead with vision and integrity to advance the development agenda of the entire Southwest region.”
The group urged Mr. Olufehinti to carry out his duties with fairness, transparency, and accountability, calling on him to use his vast experience to reposition the Commission as a beacon of progress in the region.
“Rapid development can only be achieved when we work together in unity. We also thank Mr. President for his continued support of the Ondo State government and its people,” the statement concluded.
