In a statement made available to the newsmen stated, “this remarkable achievement exemplifies your exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to the Igbo community. As a former Senator, your impressive background has undoubtedly prepared you for this esteemed role.”
“We call on you to utilize your experience and expertise in bridging gaps, addressing pressing issues, and uniting the Ndigbo irrespective of cultural, religious, or zonal divide.
“While paying our allegiance, we beseech you to follow in the footsteps of your predecessor, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu. We believe the landmark integration of South Eastern Muslim Organisation of Nigeria (SEMON), achieved during his tenure, will be cemented under your anticipated sagacious leadership.
