The suspects, made up of 12 men and one woman, were intercepted at about 7:00 p.m. on April 2 while travelling in a Toyota pickup vehicle heading towards Dekwa.
During a search of the vehicle, two of the male suspects were found with gunshot wounds.
Preliminary findings indicated that the injured individuals were part of a logistics support network for Boko Haram fighters.
They were reportedly wounded a day earlier when troops engaged suspected terrorists along the Usmadi axis while the group was moving supplies to a camp in Dekwa.
