The ward executives of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, where the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, was suspended, will pay him a solidarity visit on Wednesday.
The visit, scheduled to take place at the party’s national secretariat, will be held at 11.00 am.
The development comes two days after the Legal Adviser of the ward, Halliru Gwanzo, suspended Ganduje from the party.
Gwanzo, who addressed journalists in Kano, said the APC ward leadership took the decision, given the bribery allegations hanging on Ganduje’s neck.
He cited the bribery charges filed against Ganduje by the Kano State government and his arraignment scheduled for Thursday.
The suspension was, however, overruled by the Kano state leadership of the party, which also slammed a six-month suspension on Gwarzo and some indicted party leaders at the ward level.
