On Monday, March 30, 2026, the Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Inter-Party Affairs, Hon. Oyewole Aderemi (Guilder), has resigned his appointment to pursue his ambition of representing Idanre State Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly.
In an appreciation message on Tuesday, Aderemi thanked Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve, describing it as “a great honour and privilege.”
He said his time in office allowed him to contribute to governance and the strengthening of inter-party relationships, adding that the experience and trust reposed in him would remain deeply appreciated.
“As I humbly relieve myself from this position to pursue my aspiration of representing the good people of Idanre State Constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly, I do so with a deep sense of responsibility and a renewed commitment to serve at a higher level,” he stated.
Aderemi commended the governor’s leadership and support, saying the experience garnered under his administration would guide him in his new political journey.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the governor and commitment to the progress of Ondo State.
