Nigerian music sensation, Ayo Balogun, popular as Wizkid, has announced a heartwarming surprise for children this Christmas.
Wizkid, via an Instagram story on Monday, revealed his plan to distribute N100m to children in celebration of the festive season.
He wrote: “100M for the kids for Christmas! Lord bless us all. Start in Surulere tonight!”
In another story, the ‘Ojuelegba” crooner added that the donation was in honour of his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who died on August 18, 2023.
“All in Morayo’s name! The love of my life!” he added.
Wizkid’s donation comes weeks after he gifted hypeman Money Gee N20m after the latter dedicated a song to him titled; Big Wizzy (Italawa).
