DOWOB 2023: Olorungbotemi Bright announces Non-Governmental Movement, states purpose as Oladiran Busayo unravels Business Opportunities

THE 2023 edition of DOWOB is so educative and eye-opening as Oladiran Busayo finally took the topic “Business Opportunities” to conclude the yearly program on the 20th of July, 2023.

According to Busayo, she said, “We have various opportunities around us in this business era, and for us to succeed, it is necessary for us to sell a product or render a service.”

She further explains that (I) Getting a product could be personal goods or selling another people’s product (Affiliate marketing) and (II) Offering services requires a skillset or knowledge in a particular area to teach others.

“Financial intelligence is necessary in this era if we want to escape poverty. Acquire more assets than liabilities. An asset is something that put money into your bank account while liability takes away money from you”, she added.

“Learn a skill and be consistent. Don’t only rely on your certificate. If you do not sell, you must offer a skill. You can even sell online not until when you are having a physical store or shop. Let’s learn to put our talents on the table to put money into our account.”

After the session on “Business Opportunities”, Comrade Olorungbotemi Bright declared a Non-Governmental Movement which was tagged “Voice for Democracy and Good Governance”.

Bright revealed that; “This movement is to change the orientation of people and sensitize people about the ways of life. It is not to fight the government or people in authority but to make amendments to the loopholes in the different states and the nation at large. However, it is expected of the government and the people in the street to participate in governance and also, it is going to be called VDG which turns out to be— the ‘Voice for Democracy and Good Governance’ initiative”

As usual, DOWOB ended with fanfare and giveaways as the host implore every participant to involve in the movement to strengthen Democracy and to make an amendment to the lopsided areas in Nigeria.
