Achievers University Owo (AUO), has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Vice Chancellor, Professor, Prof. Samuel Aje.
He was said to have died on Thursday morning.
His death was announced by the Pro-Chancellor of the University, Dr Bode Ayorinde via a message made available to staff of the institution.
The late VC was a Professor of French and Applied Linguistics at the University of Jos, Plateau state.
Prof Aje assumed duty of VC at the Achievers University in April, 2020.
