Osun: Oyetola is Talk and Do, He Makes History, We Need Him in Ondo- Akeredolu

The Ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN in his speech during the commissioning of Olaiya’s flyover, Osogbo, Osun state has tagged Governor Gboyega Oyetola as “talk and do” which implies “the one who makes promises and fulfill”.

 

“Governor Gboyega Oyetola has left his mark in the sound of the time. If you do not know what he has done, the flyover is the proof. This is historical. Never before, this would be the first flyover in the city of Osogbo. I appreciate you for making me be part of this history and I didn’t take this for granted”.

 

Governor Akeredolu, SAN continues to discuss different challenges that the outgoing governor has encountered, even from people he relies on and confides in. However, he commends him for his fortitude.

 

” I congratulate you for your resilience. You have to face a lot of doubting challenges even from those who are supposed to be your friends but you’re like a rock of Gbutter. Anybody who has seen a stream and thinks the stream is determined by what is seen on the surface is wrong, life under it is moved with power, and you’re one of them. I must thank you, we knew what you met in the state and what you’ve done so far. You have tried”

 

He also emphasizes his ability to pay held salaries and confirms that Ondo state owes people salaries, promising at that time to pay off any contractual debt.

 

“Governor Gboyega Oyetola has done well. Every Osun residents and travellers will be benefitting from the flyover. He has done so well. Osun state residents will never forget him.
