A lecturer at the University of Ibadan has rewarded students that showed up for his first class following the reopening of school.
The man identified as Dr Bisi, stunned students when he gave 100 dollars each to the few who attended his lecture.
It may be recalled that ASUU recently called off its 8-month-old strike and higher institutions have already asked students to return for academic activities.
Dr Bisi, who is in the art department called for lectures but when he reached the hall, he saw only 10 students.
He then handed each of them a $100 and they decided to take photos of the rare unexpected moment.
A student who did not attend the class lamented after missing out on the cash rewards.
”So… today that I didn’t go to class… Dr Bisi shared 100 dollar notes to everyone who came to class… whyyy,” the caption read.
A Twitter user who shared photos on the microblogging site wrote; ‘‘Ọmọ, one lecturer for art in University of Ìbàdàn give 10 students who attended his first class 100 dollar each. 😂😂😂”
