Some brilliant 10 Osogbo students to bag scholarships

The osun State House of Assembly member representing Osogbo state constituency, Engr Taofeek Olatunde Badamasi, will this time, pay for WAEC, UTME and UTME mock examination for best ten students from the just concluded summer coaching class organised by the leadership of Osogbo National Students Union, ONSU.

Announcing the scholarship on Saturday at the at the grand finale of the coaching, the lawmaker applauded leadership and members of ONSU for deeming it fit to engage students during the period.

“As part of my continued support to the Osogbo National Students Union, when I heard of this laudable project, I gladly keyed into it and gave my total backing. Because, this is where we all started too and we must continue to support the Union at all times.

“Having done that, I want to say that to you the students, I’m ready to pay for West Africa Secondary School Certificate examination (WAEC) for best ten students here. Not only that, I’ll pay for their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for all of them.

“We’ll support that by paying for their Mock examination and also do my best to ensure they all secure admission into the institutions of their choice.” The lawmaker said amidst loud ovation from the students. CONTINUE READING…
