The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the ongoing Ekiti governorship election, Bisi Kolawole, has won in his polling.
Mr Kolawole, who voted at polling unit 01, ward 8, in Efon Local Government Area of the state, scored 98 votes to beat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Biodun Oyebanji, who garnered 13 votes.
Following in a distant third place was the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate, Segun Oni, who polled two votes out of the 116 accredited voters at the polling units.
Mr Kolawole, had earlier boasted that he would win the ongoing governorship election exercise, stating that Ekiti residents were in dire need of a change. CONTINUE READING…
