Offa Banks: Residents Knock Financial Institutions For Poor Banking Systems

The operation of all banking systems in Offa, Kwara State has been noted as bad in recent months, making life difficult for inhabitants, particularly when trying to withdraw money from automated machines.

Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Zenith Bank Plc, and United Bank For Africa Plc are three of the biggest banks in Offa. It is heartbreaking to hear such incidents happening with the existence of the aforementioned banks.

According to our correspondent who recently relocated to Offa, “I have never known it could be this tough. On my first attempt to withdraw money, there was an issue with ATMs in all the banks at Offa. I thought it was coincidental with the expectation that it would be fixed.”

“But instead of it to be sorted out, withdrawal of money has always been like a war front because people mostly line up before a single active automated machine while others couldn’t dispense.”
