Not too young receives Boost in Kwara As 26 Year-old Media Practitioner Wins APC Primaries

SpaceForHer advocacy for women participation in politics by the Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) seems to be gaining traction in Kwara State as 26 Year-old female journalist, Rukayat Shittu emerged as APC House of Assembly candidate for Owode/Onire Constituency.

Rukayat Shittu, a former staff of Just Event Online and one time Senate President of National Open University Students Parliament clinched the APC ticket during primary held during the weekend.

She defeated incumbent lawmaker in her constituency in keenly contested primaries.
