Yoruba Nation Agitators Seek Financial Support To Bail Igboho’s Aides

The 12 aides of the self-styled Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, who were granted bail by an Abuja High Court on Wednesday are still in detention due to lack of funds to effect their bail.

VAM news has learnt that the aides have not been released 48 hours after because they were unable to meet their bail conditions as of Friday.

About N15million is reportedly needed to secure the release of the Yoruba Nation progenitors from DSS custody.

On July 1, the DSS raided the Ibadan residence of Adeyemo, fondly addressed as Sunday Igboho, killing two and arresting 12 others.

The DSS also accused Sunday Igboho of stockpiling arms and ammunition, an allegation the activist has since denied.
