Oyetola Is Approachable And Easily Accessible; Opposition’s Claims About Him Is Sentimental – Omipidan

Mr. Ismaheel Omipidan, the Chief Press Secretary to Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has debunked a viral statement of Hon. Bamidele Salam and other members from the opposition party (PDP) over claim that the governor is inaccessible.

While speaking on a popular radio station, Rave Fm in Osogbo on Thursday morning, monitored by our correspondent, Omipidan reacted to the statement that governor Oyetola likes to ignore lawmakers from the opposition party and deliberately cut them off anytime they want to have a conversation with him about the development of the state state.

The CPS claimed that his principal, Governor Gboyega Oyetola Is a man of all regardless of the party, and also render himself available to people, most especially, when it’s something that will contribute to the advancement and progress of Osun.

In his word; “Early this year, Bamidele Salam put a call across to me that he wanted to see my Principal (Mr Governor), I responded and reach out to Mr Governor and he gives us time to meet with him, and when I get back to Salam, he said he is out of the town that he will get back to me”

The residents armed themselves with different kinds of placards.

“And the last time, he got back to me was in respect of House committee on works and I replied him to discuss with Honorable Remi, the commissioner of works”, so it is not correct to say Mr Governor is not responding to the lawsmakers from the opposition party”

The allegation by Hon. Bamidele Salam and some other lawmakers from the state claiming that Oyetola is not approachable and reluctant in collaborating with them to lift Osun to a greater height is a lie, Omipidan said

“Our politicians shouldn’t play politics on everything, all their claims are just political propaganda. And I want to assure the people of Osun state that very soon you will hear something positive about the Ido Osun airport and Cocoa Industry in Ede.”
