Senator Shehu Sani was being rigorously criticized after he lost the Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries held on Wednesday, earning just two votes.
The Senator was mocked and criticized after he took to his Twitter account on Thursday morning to give details of how he was defeated.
âThe Kaduna PDP Governorship primaries have been concluded. I lost and Honourable Isah Ashiru won. I wish to congratulate him. Two Delegates voted for me without giving them a dime; unfortunately, I donât know who they are so I can appreciate these clean votes. We look forward,â Sani wrote on Twitter.
Reacting to his tweet, Musa Ahmed said: âThis is the reality some people here on Twitter do not know nor understand. Itâs not by causing gridlock on Twitter, politics is local.
âThis would have been a childâs play had Peter Obi entered the PDP primaries. Itâs not Twitter noise. Wish you well in your blogging career.â
Another commentator Edward Onoriode said: âIâm happy many people are now seeing how Politics is run.
âItâs not about your online followers or popularity but how you play your internal Politics and if youâre sellable.
âYou may be rich but if youâre not marketable, delegates will disappoint you even with your money.â
