2027: INEC Releases Final House of Reps List

THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of candidates for the 2027 House of Representatives elections in Ondo State, with candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties cleared to contest across the state’s federal constituencies.

The final list covers the nine federal constituencies in Ondo State, with the APC candidates listed alongside their challengers from other political parties.

Akure North/Akure South

The APC candidate is Olatunji-Ohwovoriole Omowunmi.

Other candidates are Adu Aanuoluwapo Noah of the A, Farotade Adekemi Bolanle of the ADP, Akinwumi Balarabe Abiodun of the ADC, Adesanya Kemisola Adenike of the APM, Williams Aderonke of the DLA, Oparinde Ayodele Olusegun of the NDC, Faro Babatunde Emmanuel of the PDP, Omolade Maxwell of the SDP and Awoyemi Olumide of the YPP.

Idanre/Ifedore

The SDP candidate is Adefisoye Tajudeen Adeyemi,

Other candidates are Akinfala Muyiwa of the A, Adegunnloye Benedict Adeusi of the ADC, Olurankinse Olujide Paul Felix of the APM, Folashade Oluwapelumi of the DLA, Awote Feyisayo Eric of the LP, Olasunloye Ayodeji of the NRM, Falana Michael Ayodeji of the NDC, Akinleminu Blessing Niyi of the PDP, Fadini Michael Bolaji of the YPP and Akingbaso Festus Olanrewaju of the APC.

Akoko North-East/Akoko North-West

The APC candidate is Ifeoluwa Babajide Ehindero.

Akoko South-East/Akoko South-West

The APC candidate is Adegboyega Adefarati Adeyemi.

The candidates are Festus Ayodele Adefiranye of the APC, Adeniyi Damilare of the A, Arowolo Oluwarotimi Samuel of the ADP, Aruwayo John Morire of the APP, Olafunmiloye Olufemi of the ADC, Ayodele Akindele Kehinde of the APM, Jerry Bulus of the DLA, Oluwole Tayo Paul of the LP, Monday Yomi of the NRM, Olubobade Ojo Adeleye of the NDC, Ademulegun Raphael Pop Adewale of the PDP and Oluwasey Akeju of the SDP.

Okitipupa/Irele

The candidates are Okunjimi John Odimayo of the APC, Akin Yomi Abidemi Kolawole of the A, Oyekan Abiodun of the AAC, Omosuyi Olumide Abayomi of the ADC, Egbuwalo Sunday Adewale of the APM, Temokun Oluwabunmi of the DLA, Adekanmi Kehinde Adefolayemi of the NDC, Ogunwa Omoniyi Oboli of the PDP and Sunday Morebise of the SDP.

The candidates are Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo of the APC, Ogundipe Samuel of the A, Edema Olugbenga of the ADC, Amuwa Benson Adegbenro of the APM, Ilawole Taiwo Samuel of the DLA, Kpiki Daniel of the NRM, Ayerin Owoleri of the NDC, Mafimisebi Idowu of the PDP, Emmanuel Abejoye of the SOP and Ojon Dotun of the YPP.

Ondo East/Ondo West

The candidates are Michael Olamidotun Akintomide of APC, Fakeye Kayode of the A, Akingunola Omoniyi Samuel of the ADC, Olabanyi Daisi Stanley of the DLA, Akinmuyisan Oluwole Charles Akintunde of the NDC, Oluwole Eric Abiodun Emmanuel of the PDP, Akinbul Gbenga of the SDP, Daramola Bolaji Omotayo of the YPP and Ijilegan Clement Adeyemi of the ZLP.

Owo/Ose

The candidates are Oluwatimehin Adelegbe Emmanuel of the APC, Kolawole Oni Sunday of the A, Samuel Adebayo Adesida of the ADC, Awoyo Oluwadamilola Desmond of the APM, Adebiyi Olu Benson of the DLA, Ogunrbido Bukola Olaosebikan of the LP, Omodara Feyidupe of the NRM, Ogunoye Ademola Benson of the NDC and Gabriel Adepo… of the SDP.

The final list places the candidates across the nine federal constituencies ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives elections in Ondo State.
