Dangote Refinery: Step-by-step process on how to apply for job

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has opened applications for its 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme, giving young graduates an opportunity to begin a career in the oil and gas industry.

The announcement, posted on the Dangote Group’s X account on Wednesday, stated that the 18-month programme would expose successful candidates to different areas of refinery operations while working with experienced professionals.

The company said the programme is designed for “high-potential, vibrant and enthusiastic initiative-takers” seeking to grow in a global business environment.

The graduate trainee programme is open to candidates in fields such as Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geological Sciences, Laboratory Sciences, Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Power Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration, Law and Information Technology.

Applicants must possess either a First Degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND), with a minimum qualification of Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit. Candidates must also not be older than 28 years as of May 31, 2026.

Step 4: Review your application details carefully before submission.

Step 5: Submit the application and keep a copy of your details for reference.
