Oyebamiji Awards Scholarships up to University level to Four Children of Osogbo Rainstorm Victim

Following the heavy rainstorms that wrecked havock recently in Osogbo, the Osun State capital last week, the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) on Sunday declared scholarships up to the university level for the four children of the victim of the natural disaster.

Oyebamiji also ordered immediate opening of Special Bank Account for the children through which he would be sending money and other support regularly to finance their education from primary school up to the university level.

This is just as the members of the family of the deceased praised Oyebamiji’s philanthropic gesture, praying God to answer all his prayers and grant him victory in the next governorship election in Osun State.

AMBO made the declaration during a visit to the family of late Jemilat Ganiyu who died during the devastating rainstorm in Osogbo.

The children of the deceased to be sponsored in education by AMBO are: Tijani Faruk (currently JSS 2 student), Tijani Mariam (currently SS2 student), Tijani Fatimah (currently SS3 student) and Tijani Haliah (currently primary 6 pupil).

Oyebamiji, in his short speech, expressed griefs over the circumstance that led to the death of the decease, explaining death remains inevitable to every mortal.

He condoled the family of the deceased, particularly her parents, on the sudden death, praying Almighty Allah to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Oyebamiji equally paid a visit to the mother and her daughter that sustained injuries in the course of the rainstorms but receiving treatment at Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

He used the visit to pray for quick recuperation of all the patients who are receiving treatments in the hospital just as he donated handsomely for all the patients to mark his visit.

Oyebamiji also asked his aides to take proper data of a patient with critical condition whose parents separately approached him for assistance.

Saheed Onibonokuta, Olorunda Local Government Chairman, Hon. Mojeed Kunle Kudaisi, former Special Adviser on Youth and Sports, Hon. Lateef Adegboyega Adelabu, Hon. Felicia Omolaoye, Hon. Bola Jimoh, Hon. Muhammad Gazali (Kasmo), Hon. Mojeed Fasasi, Hon. Kazeem Yusuf, Hon. Ibrahim Taofeek Kayode, Hon. Ibrahim Oyeladun, Hon. Abdullahi Ayodeji Olaiya, Hon. Babatunde Oyetunji, Hon.
