Await Good Governance, Govt-For-All Soon, Oyebamiji Felicitates Muslim Ummah on Eid-el-fitr

The Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming August 15th, 2026 governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has rejoiced with Muslim Ummah in the state on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-fitr celebration.

Oyebamiji assured citizens of an inclusive, participatory, masses-focused and people-oriented government when elected Governor this year, saying “let’s await good governance that would be the pride of all.”

AMBO called for renewed devotion to faith and strict adherence to the teachings and lessons of the festive period, urging vehement prayers for peaceful gubernatorial poll in the state.

Oyebamiji, in his Eid -el-fitr message personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, extolled residents of Osun for their unflinching support thus far, promising to raise the bar of governance as soon as he is elected Governor.

He congratulated Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, urging them to continuously cultivate the virtues of love, peace, unity and good neighbourliness as espoused in the Holy Quran and exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

“As we celebrate Eid -el-fitr in our dear state and across the world, I sincerely acknowledge and rejoice with our brothers and sisters in Islam on the successful completion of the precious month of Ramadan.

“Our individual and collective spiritual dedication, devotion, generosity and benevolence in the Holy Month and beyond are testaments to our avowed commitment to collectively propagate our faith and ensure the emergence of a gubernatorial candidate whose mission and vision is anchored on building a state that will be a pride of all.

“As we are in election year, let’s use the occasion of this festive period to pray fervently for peaceful polls, in both the gubernatorial election in our dear state and general elections next year. It is time for personal assessment; it is time for sacrifice and selflessness to promoting peace, unity and cohesion. Let’s continue to be our brother’s keepers towards achieving our common goal of building a state where the rule of law, security of lives and property of the citizens and general welfare and well-being of the citizens prevail, are achieved and championed.
