‘Adeleke Is Our Choice’ — Top APC Leader Reportedly Makes Shocking Revelation Ahead Osun Gov’ship

A very top Osun APC leader with high standing at the federal level (names withheld) reportedly made a shocking,open admission recently at a botched mobilisation meeting for the Osun APC governorship candidate.

Two eye witnesses briefed selected journalists this morning at Osogbo about the said closed door meeting.

Eye witness account revealed that the said leader accompanied by top APC leaders in the state tackled one of the invited dignitaries who rejected the request for support for the APC candidate.

The APC leader had delivered his address with a plea for the invited guests to work for the APC candidate.

Speaking on behalf of the invited guests at one of the several meetings hosted by the APC leader, one of the invited guests told the APC leader that Adeleke remains their choice because of his performance in office.

“We had endorsed Adeleke. The man has done well for us in our areas”, eye witness account noted.

The increasingly agitated APC leader reportedly cut in, asking: “ Do you know the amount of money the FG has paid to the state? Did they tell you of the huge money they are getting? During our time, we did not get that type of money”

The guest however allegedly stood his ground, repeating as follows according to eye witness account: “We are not interested in how much money; we only saw the job well done by the Adeleke and we embraced him”

Again, the top APC leader was reportedly to have cut in again: “ You people dont know what is happening. They got more money than us. You cannot compare our performance with that if the Adelekes.

Then the bombshel eyewitness described as shocking even to inner caucus members who accompany him at the meeting: “If you know what we have done to them. We are surprised that government is still surviving. If not that Deji has money, the Adeleke government would have collapsed by now”

A pin silence reportedly descended on the room which was only broken by the guest speaking again: “ We have tested several governments and for our town, Adeleke jas done so well, so good for us.

“In the past, they will come and tell us,our town is there second home. After 12 years, our town jas nothing to show. Adeleke came and changed our story. So we apologise-our candidate is Adeleke.

“But for Presidential election, Ahmed Tinubu is our choice. We want to advice that you promote Mr President’s re-election. Kindly dont get further involved in the state election. Adeleke for re-election is a pan -Osun agenda. This is not about political party, it is about our dear state”
