Small Alhaji Greets Muslims, Christians On 2026 Ramadan And Lent

On Wednesday, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye Small Alhaji, House of Representatives Member (9th Assembly) greeted Muslim and Christian faithful from Idanre/Ifedore federal Constituency, and Ondo state, urging them to use Ramadan and Lent for reflection on their relationship with God and humanity.

He stated: “For Muslims, Ramadan fosters sober reflection, self-realisation, and spiritual rejuvenation toward ‘Taqwa’ (God-consciousness). Prophet Muhammad (SAW) stressed compassion and touching lives.”

“For Christians, Lent mirrors Jesus’ 40-day fast – a time for prayer, fasting, almsgiving, and repentance leading to forgiveness and renewal,” he added.

Small Alhaji wished both communities a blessed Ramadan and Lent, emphasising spiritual growth.
