President Bola Tinubu on Monday held closed-door talks with six governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the State House, Abuja.

It was reported that those in attendance were the governors of Jigawa, Umar Namadi; Edo, Monday Okpebholo; Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji; Kogi, Usman Ododo; Sokoto, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto; and Kebbi, Nasir Idris.
The meeting is coming amid escalating insecurity in the country, with abduction of school children and worshipers across parts of the North-West and North-Central.
