…Congratulates Osun APC, LGA Chairmen Over S’Court Verdict
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun state, Prince Abdulrasheed Muideen (a.k.a Romeo), has described the move of Osun Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, as an act desperation taken too far after his resignation from the People’s Democraric Party (PDP).
The Olorunda Prince during a media chat in Abuja says the state Governor is just chasing shadows with his desperate act of securing another term with him leaving PDP weeks after spending billions of Osun Tax-payers money in funding the illegal Ibadan PDP convention.
Prince Abdulrasheed said, “it’s so unfortunate what Osun people are getting under the poor leadership style of Gov. Adeleke. He is a governor who is less concerned about development or wellbeing of the people but rather dancing in every country of the world.
“His recent resignation from the PDP is act of desperation after spending billions of Osun Tax-payers money in funding the Jamboree gathering and illegal convention in Ibadan.”
The House of Representatives Aspirant has advised the Governor to start preparing his handover note because it’s obvious Osun people will not return a failed Governor.
“I will advise the Governor to start preparing his handover note now because it’s obvious Osun people will not vote him in the 2026 gubernatorial election. Look around the state, there is no commemorative development to justify the funds coming to the state, both federal allocation & state IGR.
“As it stands today, Gov. Adeleke is the only political party orphan Governor in Nigeria. Imagine a sitting Governor without a party. It is an indication that he has being rejected by all including the state Assembly member who did not follow him in his political journey of oblivion,” Abdulrasheed concluded.
Abdulrasheed also use the opportunity to congratulate Osun APC and LGA Chairmen over supreme court judgement granting them full 3-year tenure. Local government autonomy has come to stay, he declared.
