Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has backed the party’s governorship candidate in the forthcoming election in Anambra State, George Moghalu.
Obi, however, noted that the electorate in the state will determine who becomes the next governor.

In a statement by the Obidient Movement National Coordinator, Tanko Yunusa, Obi urged people in the state to choose their governor wisely during the election.
The statement reads: “A man is known by his words and actions; that is called integrity. I will support my party candidate, George Moghalu, despite it not being my election, but my conscience says so.

However, the decision of who becomes the next governor of the state lies solely on the shoulders of Anambarians (Ndi Anambra).
In defiance of the rain and bad street roads in Anambra, H.E. P.O. came out for a walk on the street in solidarity with George Moghalu, and the Obidients are there to give their unalloyed support for this noble cause.
On a final call to the Anambarians (Ndi Anambra), it is your democratic right and decision to exercise your civic responsibility in electing your governor. Vote wisely!
