CDCFIB’s Guidelines For Applicants Released – DETAILS

News Update

THE Nigerian Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released guidelines for applicants for its ongoing recruitment exercise.

According to an official statement issued by the Secretary to the Board, candidates are expected to log in to the examination portal at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time for verification and system checks, warning that late entry will not be permitted.

The statement outlines seven key instructions for candidates.

Candidates are advised to verify their examination details, ensuring that their exam date, time, and login credentials correspond with their registration records.

They are required to use a laptop, desktop, or smartphone equipped with a working camera, microphone, and stable internet connection.
Identity verification will be conducted through a selfie check, which must match the image provided during registration before access is granted.

The examination will also be monitored through live video and AI-assisted proctoring to prevent malpractice. Any suspicious movement, communication, or attempt to access unauthorized materials will result in instant disqualification.

Candidates encountering technical difficulties are instructed to report issues immediately through the official support portal.

The guidelines further state that candidates must remain on the exam interface throughout the test, as navigating away from the screen, switching tabs, or engaging in external communication will be automatically detected and flagged.

The Board emphasized that all candidates must strictly adhere to their assigned date and time, noting that failure to participate within the allotted period could lead to disqualification without appeal.

The statement also included important notes reminding applicants that the examination invitation is personal and non-transferable. Compliance with all technical and proctoring requirements is mandatory, and any form of misconduct, impersonation, or violation of the examination policy will attract severe penalties.

The Board reaffirmed that the document is an official communication from the Nigerian CDCFIB Recruitment Portal.
