Aisha Wahab, the young woman who was kidnapped in Auchi, Edo State, has regained her freedom after spending weeks in her abductors’ den.
Voice Air Media gathered that the kidnappers had earlier demanded a ₦20 million ransom and even released multiple videos threatening to kill her if the money wasn’t paid.
One of the videos, shared by human rights activist, Comrade Harrison Gwamnishu, showed Aisha in distress, pleading for help from Nigerians as her life hung in the balance.
In a latest update, Harrison Gwamnishu confirmed that Aisha has been released.
He shared a video of himself with the young lady and her mother celebrating her freedom.
