NYSC declares date for 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 passing-out

News Update

THE National Youth Service Corps has fixed Thursday, November 6, 2025, as the official date for the passing-out ceremony of corps members from the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, who revealed that the management had approved a low-key ceremony to mark the completion of the service year for the batch that began its orientation between October 23 and November 12, 2024.

According to the statement, pre-event activities will include job advisory and counselling sessions for corps members across various local government areas in the country.

It further stated that the signing and issuance of final clearance letters by Zonal Inspectors would form part of the winding-up process for the outgoing corps members.

“The Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu wishes all the Corps Members, passing-out including the Monitoring Officers on assignment a successful Winding-up and Passing-out Exercise,” the statement added.

The NYSC 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream One orientation course, held simultaneously across all 37 orientation camps in Nigeria, ran from October 23 to November 12, 2024.

During the three-week exercise, corps members underwent paramilitary drills, leadership training, entrepreneurship classes under the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme, and activities promoting community integration.

After camp, they were deployed to various Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) across sectors including education, health, and agriculture, where they contributed to community and national development throughout their service year.
