According to the organizing committee headed by Bamigboye Adeolu, stated that the vision of the project is to bridge the gap between traditional music and Afrobeat culture while promoting creative fusion across Africa’s entertainment landscape.

The committee explained that the mission of the AfroTrad project is to advance traditional creative content and infuse global experiences into African entertainment. It noted that the initiative aims to position traditional and Afrobeat sounds on the global stage.

The organizing committee further disclosed that the project seeks to enhance the display of excellence in local artistic content and present it to a wider international audience.

Highlighting previous successes, the committee said Oludare Troupe has consistently impressed audiences by blending local drums such as the gangan with Afrobeat rhythms during past editions of the festival.
