Osun Online Publishers Congratulates General Secretary, Idowu Akintunde, on His Birthday

THE Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) extends heartfelt felicitations to its General Secretary and Publisher of The Interviews, Mr. Idowu Akintunde, on the joyful occasion of his birthday.

In a statement released to the press on Wednesday in Osogbo, the Chairman of the Association, Mukhtar Ajelogbon, described Mr. Akintunde fondly known as “Baba Akintunde” as a veteran journalist whose lifelong contributions to the development of journalism in Osun State and beyond continue to inspire the next generation of media professionals.

Over the decades, he has not only reported the news with integrity but has also served as a mentor and guiding light to countless younger journalists across the state. Mr. Akintunde’s contributions to the growth of online media in Osun are well documented.

As the publisher of The Interviews, he has consistently offered a platform for thoughtful discourse, in-depth reporting, and community-focused journalism. His role within OOPA as General Secretary has been marked by diligence, transparency, and a passion for upholding the core principles of the association.
