The Ministry of Information had been scrapped by the previous administration led by Nasir El-Rufai.
The changes were announced on Wednesday through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibraheem Musa.
The new appointments include Prof. Abubakar Sani Sambo, who is now the Commissioner for Education, and Barrister Gloria Ibrahim, who will lead the Ministry of Youth Development.
The former Commissioner of Education, Prof. Sani Bello, also known as Mainan Zazzau, has been moved to head the newly established Ministry of Information.

He once served as Vice Chancellor at both Kaduna State University and Bauchi State University. He also held roles at Usmanu Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, and headed the Energy Commission of Nigeria for several years.
His background includes working with both local and international committees focused on energy and education.
Barrister Gloria Ibrahim, the new Youth Development Commissioner, is a lawyer and mediator who has worked in legal practice for years.
