Seun Kuti escapes stray bullet in hotel room in USA — Report

Popular Afrobeats singer Seun Kuti has recently shared a shocking experience while in a hotel room in the United States.  Seun Kuti shared a video while explaining that he narrowly escaped being hit by a stray bullet in the room.

 

In his video, Seun showed the damage the bullet caused as it went through his window.

 

While expressing his shock and concern, Seun stated that he was just resting in the room before the incident.

 

“Tell me you’re in America without telling me you’re in America. I’m in my hotel room just chilling and boom,” he said.

 

Seun Kuti also used that medium to question the level of safety in the country, seeing as the bullet could have caused fatal damage.

 

“I read somewhere that these are the civilized people, ” he wrote.

 

In reaction, his fans and friends of the musician asked him to stay safe.

 

Seun Kuti is yet to disclose his exact location, but vaguely shared the he was ‘downtown’.
