Strength in Unity: A Call to APC Youth for Harmony and Progress

Fellow Progressives,

It is troubling to see the series of articles, blackmail, and social media attacks being carried out by our friends and brothers against one another in the name of promoting aspirants. These actions of name-calling, disrespecting elders, and discrediting fellow party members are not only unbecoming but also harmful to the cohesion and progress of our party. Let us not forget that the APC is a family, and as a family, we must prioritize unity above personal interests.

Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), Senator Ajibola Basiru (SRJ), Former Deputy Governor Benedict Alabi and others who are warming up are distinguished leaders who have contributed immensely to the growth of our party. Regardless of who emerges as the flagbearer, we must all rally behind them to ensure victory in 2026. The reality is, after the primaries, All of them will still work together for the success of the APC. They will dine and wine together, while we, the youth, are left to mend the relationships we are currently destroying on social media.

Let us exercise wisdom and caution. Our common enemy is not within the APC; it is the PDP, and our ultimate goal is to send them out of Abeere in 2026. To achieve this, we must present a united front. Division and infighting will only weaken our resolve and give our opponents an advantage.

I call on all youth stakeholders within our party to reach out to their peers and encourage them to embrace unity. Let us cushion the tensions and foster an environment of mutual respect and collaboration. No one can run this show alone; we need each other to achieve our collective goal of reclaiming Abeere.

I also appeal to all our leaders aspiring to be our party flag bearer in the 2026 gubernatorial election to caution their supporters and prioritize the unity and success of our party above personal ambitions. As leaders, we must set an example by promoting peace and discouraging divisive actions among followers and party members.

Finally, I urge all APC youth and party members to remember that our strength lies in our unity. Let us work together, hand in hand, to ensure the success of our party in 2026. Together, we can kick the PDP out of Abeere and continue to build a brighter future for Osun State.

The time to act is now. Let us rise above petty squabbles and focus on the bigger picture. Strength in unity is our path to victory.
