Titi Tomori-Ponle Foundation Empowers 10 Youths With Equipment, Materials Each To Start Business In Osun

A non-profit organization, Titi Tomori-Ponle Foundation has Empowered 10 Youths With Equipments Each To Start Business in Osun state.

At the 1st Post-graduation of the ten(10) beneficiaries from the institute for entrepreneurship and development studies (IFEDS), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Nigeria, held in Osogbo, Osun state on Monday April 14th, 2025.

Chairman, Board of Trustees, TTP Foundation, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, revealed that the beneficiaries were trained in catering and hospitality management, and that the objective of the foundation was to inspire, support and empower the Women and youths across Nigeria to secure a greater future for themselves.

“The objective is to empower Women and youth by providing them with the necessary skill, education, resources and support to achieve economic independence and societal impact, fostering sustainable development and gender equality in Nigeria through rigorous business training, business plan competitions, grants, and mentorships.”

Prof. Ogunbodede, recognised the presence of Mrs. Titi Tomori Ponle and Mr. Tunde Ponle and other dignitaries, also he commended the beneficiaries for a job well done.

“To the graduands your dedication is truly commendable, the foundation is excited to look forward to your future achievements and the foundation will also continue to support their entrepreneurship progress. As they were found worthy of the certificate.”

“The TTP Foundation remains steadfast and promised continuous support to the beneficiaries, He said.

While delivery her speech, the founder of TTP Foundation, HE Otunba Grace Titi Tomori-Ponle recognized the efforts of the members of the Trust Of Board Trustees for making the foundation agenda a successful one.

Her excellency Titi Tomori Ponle appreciates God and Daddy Ponle for always being her pillar of support, She appreciated Prof. EYITOPE Ogunbodede, Pro. Olalekan YINUSA, Mojeed Alabi, and other dignitaries, among others.

“On this day 10 individuals were honoured and empowered in catering and hospitality management, at the institute for entrepreneurship and development studies at OAU.”

She mentioned that they were very objective during the selection process of the selected individuals and they are chosen by their performance.

“They haven’t disappointed us because we have been hearing positivities feedbacks about them in terms of dedication and passion, conduct perseverance and willingness to learn at all time, and they have been of good conduct both in the lecture room and the OAU premises as well.

“Today as we empowered them with the support resources and opportunities they need, we have high expectations from them, they will make significant contribution to our society and beyond. We believe they will inspire others with their dedication and resilience,” HE Otunba Titi Tomori-Ponle said.

Empowerment equipment and materials given to them are; 12kg cylinder, a set of pot, sets of baking pan, blender, two face gas burner and other baking tools.

The beneficiaries include: Ibrahim Rukayat Oluwatosin, Adegboye Yetunde Mutiyat, Owolabi Aminat Olayinka, Onatobi Tolulope Oluwayemisi, Moshood Nijat Omowumi, Egunfemi Olalekan Wasiu, Badmus Kafayat, Bankole Eunice Folake, and Bello Islamiyat Adeola.

Members of board of the foundation include; Tunde Ponle,
Mrs Tomori Ponle, Eyitope Ogunbodede, D.o Yinus, Samuel Sesan Sanusi, Muktar Ajelogbon, Jimoh Fasaasi, Bola Adegoke, Odun Ilori, Teniola Taiwo, Abdurahman Okunade among others.

During the course of the programme, Three of the beneficiaries were given instant employment by viewers from the online live streaming.

The beneficiaries and their families extended their sincere appreciation and gratitude to TTPF.
