In his goodwill message, Hon. Adefisoye commends the dedication, patience, and spiritual commitment exhibited by Muslims throughout the fasting period. He acknowledges Ramadan as a time of self-discipline, prayer, and charity, urging the Muslim Ummah to continue practicing these virtues beyond the holy month.
“Ramadan is a period of deep reflection, devotion, and acts of kindness. As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, let us continue to uphold the values of love, unity, and tolerance that Islam teaches.
May Allah accept our prayers, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us lasting peace, prosperity, and happiness.”
Hon. Adefisoye also encourages the Muslim community to use this occasion as an opportunity to strengthen relationships, foster peaceful coexistence, and extend a helping hand to the less privileged. He prays that the lessons learned during Ramadan will guide everyone towards a more just, compassionate, and prosperous society.
“As we mark this joyous occasion, I pray that Almighty Allah blesses our nation with peace, stability, and progress. May He continue to protect and uplift our people. Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters!”
