THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC via its X handle responded to a Nigerian who asked the agency to borrow him N2m from stolen funds recovered.

Taking to the X platform, the user asked the anti-graft agency to borrow him the sum of N2 million from the stolen funds it recovered from fraudsters to start up a business.

Responding, the EFCC stated that it returns the proceeds to the rightful owners and in some cases, to the federal government.
