Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Her Excellency Otunba Titi Tomori-Ponnle, has disclaimed the act perpetrated by a fraudster who impersonates her on social media especially Facebook.
In a public service announcement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Osogbo, Titi Tomori-Ponnle informed the general public to be aware of a scammer using her name and photographs on Facebook among other social media platforms to dupe innocent citizens under the pretence of a fictitious investment, empowerment or assistance programme.
The perpetrator of this evil act is chatting people up on Facebook, telling them to invest in a fake forum where people were defrauded. The perpetrators of this evil act are also asking for money in the name of Titilaoye Tomori.
The announcement, however, called on the public not to respond to any of the messages requesting people to join any platform or request to pay any amount.
