Honourable Alfred, representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, has left the party to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

His defection was confirmed today in the green chamber, where he was officially welcomed by Senator Simon Lalong, former governor of Plateau State.

Honorable Alfred’s move comes shortly after Fom Daniel Chollom, another Labour Party member, defected to the APC, citing leadership challenges within the Labour Party.

Recall that last week, at least five Labour Party federal lawmakers defected from the party to join the APC.
