The Vice Chairman of Idanre Local Government Area Transition Committee, Hon. Bankole Akinselure, has congratulated the All Progressive Congress, APC, and His Excellency Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for winning the governorship election.
Hon. Bankole while congratulating the governor-elect and his running mate, Dr. Olayide Adelami, mni, said Ondo people have spoken loud.
“Ondo people have spoken loud and clear with their votes and have overwhelmingly voted for a government of continuity and progress they believe will continue the trajectory of growth that we have experienced in the last 300 days under the APC”.
The council vice chairman said the feat was a reward for the infrastructural development and good governance provided by the Lucky Strides since December, 2023 till date and the vigorous campaign embarked upon by the APC candidate and his running mate across the length and breadth of the State.
“It is therefore with great pleasure that I congratulate our great party for a resounding victory yesterday.
Again, the people of the state have decided to stay on the path of an infrastructural drive, economic growth, and all-round development.
While I congratulate the Governor and his deputy on their well-deserved victory, I also commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the improved electoral process and diligence in their duties for allowing a free, fair, and credible election.
