Osun Amotekun Commander, Omoyele Honored with P.S. Champion of the Year 2024 Award

THE Osun Amotekun Corps Commander and Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Internal Security and Local Matters, Dr. Hon Omoyele Isaac Adekunle, has been awarded the prestigious Public Safety Champion of the Year 2024 by Lenz Africa TV. This recognition emphasizes his exceptional contributions and tireless efforts in ensuring the safety and security of Osun State, setting new standards in public safety leadership.

The award was presented to Dr. Omoyele by the representative of the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Enitan Ogunwusi CFR, in the person of HRM Oba Adeniyi Isaiah Olodesa of Ife. In a moving ceremony held at Watercress Hall Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos State on Sunday night, the award was conferred in recognition of Omoyele’s outstanding leadership in the security sector, particularly since he assumed the role of Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps. His commitment to the safety of Osun residents has not only inspired his colleagues but has also positively impacted the entire state.

During his acceptance speech, Omoyele expressed deep gratitude to Lenz Africa TV for the prestigious honor, praising the platform for uniting various tribes and communities by celebrating the achievements and contributions of individuals across diverse sectors. “I am deeply honored to receive this award, which I dedicate it to the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, my family, and the entire Osun Amotekun Corps. This recognition is a testament to the collective effort of everyone who has supported me in this journey,” Omoyele remarked.

He went on to reaffirm his commitment to continuing his work in strengthening security efforts and protecting the residents of Osun. “I promise not to relent in my duty to ensure the safety of all who reside in Osun State. I also urge our youths to look to the elders who have contributed selflessly to the progress and development of society. It is through dedication, hard work, and unity that we can continue to move forward,” Omoyele added.
