Protest Day 2: EndBadGovernance protesters observe Jumm’at prayer on road in Osun

OSUN State residents mainly youths on Friday continued the protest in Osogbo, the state capital, demanding reversal of fuel subsidy removal and stoppage of naira devaluation.

VAM News reported that as the protest enters day two, residents of Osun converged at the Freedom Park before moving to Olaiya flyover.

They were there till afternoon when they observed prayer.

Also, some youths also held the protest in Ile-Ife, where both students and non-students of the Obafemi Awolowo University participated while chanting solidarity songs and arrying banners bearing varying inscriptions to send signal to the government to address many challenges confronting the nation.

Displaying their banners with inscriptions on their banners and placards read, “We want food price control with immediate effect,” “Revert fuel price to Pre-May 29, 2023 price,” “Local Government is the key to national and economic development,” among others.
