Tragedy hits Ekiti as man stabs ex-wife to death, kills himself

A yet to be identified man has reportedly stabbed his former wife to death in Igede-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The woman, according to report, had two children for the man, before leaving him and travelling out of Igede-Ekiti.

It was gathered that the woman came to Igede-Ekiti for a function and the man invited her to come and see one of the two children that is with him, claiming that the child was sick.

The lady sensing foul play, went with someone.

However on getting to the man’s house, the ex-husband stabbed her severally and after ensuring that she was dead, also stabbed himself in the abdomen.

Another version had it that after killing his ex-wife, the man took a Sniper, a poisonous insecticide.
