Reactions as Tap Swap bans Nigerian users, platform inaccessible

Voice Air Media, VAM News Update

Tap Swap, a well-known cryptocurrency exchange, has allegedly restricted Nigerian users from accessing its platform.

This move has sparked debate and anger among impacted users.

As per posts on social media by different people, the site experiences issues loading or completing transactions when accessed through a Nigerian internet connection.

Other users have also reported being unable to access their TapSwap accounts, with @bagboylammy stating, “If you can’t access your Tapswap, it’s because they’ve removed Nigeria from their airdrop list.”

@AuthorHeaven_EW tweeted, “It appears that the popular crypto exchange Tap Swap has made the controversial decision to block users from Nigeria.”

@rutie_xx simply tweeted, “Tapswap has cancelled Nigeria.”

It remains unclear why Tap Swap has chosen to block Nigerian users, causing a significant inconvenience for many who are now unable to access their accounts or carry out transactions.

This decision sheds light on the difficulties and uncertainties encountered by cryptocurrency users.

As the situation progresses, those affected are actively searching for explanations and remedies, eagerly anticipating a resolution that will enable them to restore access to their accounts and resume their involvement in the cryptocurrency market.
