Devcom Meets On Advocacy For Improved Family Planning Uptake in Osun

As part of its ongoing effort to improve the acceptability of Family Planning in Osun State, Development Communication Network, DevCom on Monday held a meeting with its media team.

The meeting was to inform the media team of the need for more advocacy visits to various facilities in the state.

Speaking on behalf of Devcom, the chairman of the media team, Mr Victor Adeoti said the team would be going out on Thursday to some health facilities to speak with clients.

He noted that the client would be asked about the benefits of Family Planning, the challenges they are facing and their advice for those who are yet to key into the program.

Adeoti said the media is key in achieving the target, admonishing the team to show commitment during the visit to the facilities.

He also urged the team to be friendly with the clients and help others who are yet to subscribe to the initiative see reasons to do so.
