Osun Community Loses Monarch

THE Olumoro of Moro In Ife-North Local Government Area of Osun, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Ezekiel Abidoye Oyeniyi has joined his ancestors.

It was gathered that Oba Oyeniyi died on Wednesday.

The Monarch’s demise was made public on the social media platform of “IFE NORTH AGENDA”, where Chiefs and illustrious sons and daughters of Ile-Ife penned condolence messages to Moro people.

Femi Olajide Wrote, “The demise of Kabiyesi Olumoro HRM Oba Dr Ezekiel Abidoye Oyeniyi is painful; it’s a personal loss to me. I met Baba in the ’70s in Ibadan when he was an expert ENT doctor in the service of the then Western State and I was in the old WNTV/WNBS. He was a great asset to the people and the government then. People in Ibadan were worried when Baba moved to the throne of his forefathers in Moro. His movement was therefore with mixed feelings. So they didn’t “release” him totally to Moro. We can say a million good things about Baba who I loved to visit before and after his enthronement, but we can not say enough. We can only request from the Almighty Father to accept the good works of our knowledgeable, hardworking and brilliant Kabiyesi into His eternal kingdom. RIP, Kabiyesi Olumoro. Your good legacies will germinate IJMN. -From Femi Olajide (jp) Ile Oosa Onigbinde, Ipetumodu.”
